We are blessed for the many volunteers who step in and help us make church a great place to be. Our volunteer positions are listed below to help you see where your talents fit. Administration & events

Event Team
The Event team volunteers help planning and serving meals on events where staff and/or elders are involved, and therefore not available to do so. They can choose to purchase a pre-maid meal or to prepare it themselves.

Event Team Cooordinator
The Event Team Coordinator volunteer manages the team, placing people in schedules so that every event is covered.

First Impressions
First Impressions team members are the first people we see at the door when we come for services. They help welcoming people and answering questions about North Park.

Coffee Hospitality
The Hospitality team prepares and serves coffee and refreshments between services.
Teachers
People who are willing to share both their biblical knowledge and life experience are a great fit to teach in our adult electives.

Small Group Leaders
Small Group Leader facilitate discussions and organizes small group meetings.

Prayer Team
Prayer team members have the opportunity to pray for the prayer requests that come into the church. There are a range of opportunities in prayer ministry.

Visitation Team
Visitation team members have the opportunity to visit those who are sick or are shut-ins.

Meal Team
Meal team members cook and deliver a meal every one to two months.
Care Group Facilitators
Care group facilitators are needed for the CancerCare, DivorceCare and GriefShare programs.

Food Cupboard
Food Cupboard volunteers are needed once a month (Monday) to help with our Food Cupboard event.

Friendship Club
Friendship Club volunteers gather weekly to help and support adults with intellectual disabilities. 

CHILDREN'S Ministry

Small Group Leader
Small Group Leaders will lead children in prepared social and Bible-based activities as well as greet children and parents. Minimum commitment is volunteering at the  9:00am or 11:00am service, twice a month. 18+ years and older.  Training provided.

Large Group Teacher
Large Group Leaders will teach or present the Bible story to children (grades 1-5) in a large group setting. Materials are provided.

Large Group Host
Large Group Hosts will welcome children as they arrive as well as serve as an "emcee" of sorts throughout large group times. Comfort in using a microphone as well as good drama skills is considered an asset.

Card Writing
This would be an ongoing position for someone who would prefer to help from their own home. Cards would be written and sent out to children for their birthdays or other major celebrations as well as to families who have just recently had a baby.  Materials and stamps would be provided.
Set Up / Tear Down Crew
The Set up and Tear down Crew are required to assist with classroom activities, toys and technology as well as staying after to help clean up.

Tech Team
The Tech team is responsible for operating technology for large group events as well as possibly creating slides and troubleshooting any tech issues in the classrooms.

Weekday Volunteers
During the week we are looking for weekly volunteers to help with preparing lessons and gathering  materials for lessons, crafts and activities under the supervision of the Director and Assistant.  As well, we are looking for weekly or monthly volunteers to oversee the safety and cleanliness of the toys in the classrooms. We are also looking for those with a passion for decorating to join our decorating team (monthly commitment).

Teachers
Teachers are needed for both the onsite and online  ESL programs.

Assistant teachers
Assistant teachers are needed to offer support to the ESL teachers for both the onsite and online  ESL programs.
ESL Leader
An onsite ESL leader is needed to work with the online ESL leader to provide an effective ESL ministry.

Event Coordinator
Event Coordinator volunteers will be responsible for coordinating a couple of events for the onsite ESL program.

Outdoor Opportunities
Outdoor volunteer opportunities include decorating the urns, seasonally (we are looking for a person with a flair for decorating), property care and tending gardens.

Indoor Opportunities
Indoor volunteer opportunities may include drywalling and painting.

Specialized Skills
If you have a specialized skill, we would love to hear from you! We are currently looking for someone with welding, woodworking and roofing experience.

Delivery Drivers for Ark Aid and Sanctuary London
As we collect donations for our community partners, Ark Aid Street Mission and Sanctuary London, our volunteer drivers sort and deliver the items on Wednesday afternoons.

Food Coalition
Food Coalition team members collect food about to expire, sort it, and deliver it to families in need on Sunday mornings.

Livestream Host Position
We are looking for volunteers to host our Sunday livestream service at 11:00am.

REFUGEE INITIATIVE

Host Family Circle Leader
This position involves leading a Host Family Circle team that loves and supports newcomers.

Host Family Circle Members
Volunteers become part of a team that loves and supports newcomers (previously refugees) for a period of one year. Volunteers will help newcomers by showing them how to adjust to life in Canada.

Worship & Tech

Worship Leader
Worship  team members will lead songs, prayers, Scripture readings for the weekend worship as well as organize and lead a band and other vocalists.

Worship Team Vocalist
The Worship Team Vocalist  will sing on team , support the worship leader vocally and possibly lead sections of songs.

Worship Team Instrumentalist
The Worship Team Instrumentalist will play an instrument in the band. We are interested in  almost any instrument, but specifically looking for instruments in the "rhythm section" (bass, drums, piano, keyboard).

Choir Member
Choir member volunteers will join seasonal choirs, learn parts and sing with a section of the choir.
Graphic Operator
Graphic Operator volunteers are responsible for switching slides and lyrics on the room screens and for livestream.

Audio Operator
Audio Operator volunteers are responsible for operating the sound board during rehearsals and services as well as ensuring services are well mixed and running smoothly for both in-person and livestream services.

Camera Operator
Camera Operator volunteers are responsible for operating the video cameras during services.

Photographer/Videographer
We are looking for volunteers who are willing and able to attend North Park services and events to provide high quality photos and video footage.

young adults

Small Group Study Leaders
Small Group Study Leaders meet with six - eight adults (18-23yr) to share in life, lead a discussion or a study and pray with and for young adults.

Event Support Team
Volunteers are needed to help out at larger social events with kitchen prep and clean up and decorating (set up and take down).

Small Group Leaders will lead youth (grades 6-12) in social and Bible-based activities which are prepared and organized ahead of time by a curriculum team. Commitment is once a week on Wednesday evening.  A love for fun is considered an asset for this position!
