1. Read Hebrews 12:14-17.
- How would you summarize the main message of these verses?
- What does it mean to live at peace with everyone?
- What does it mean to be holy?
- How can someone fall short of the grace of God if grace is a free gift?
- How does the example of Esau illustrate falling short of God’s grace?
2. Read Hebrews 12:18-29.
- How does this passage reinforce the call to live distinct lives mentioned in 12:14-17?
- How does it emphasize the seriousness of this call?
- How does it relate again to the example of Esau?
3. Balancing Judgment and Grace:
- How should we balance the reality of God's judgment with the reality of His grace?
