A Celebration of Gifts

If you have children in grades 1-5, you and your family are invited to join us on Friday, December 8 from 6:00-8:00pm at North Park Community Church for “A Celebration of Gifts”.  This fun family event is a GREAT opportunity for you to connect with other families and provides the time and space for your family to celebrate three great gifts of Christmas…

  1.  The gift of Giving: parents will help their children make a special Christmas themed craft and card that will be “a gift to give” at Christmas time to someone special in their life.
  2. The gift of Home: families will assemble and decorate a small ginger bread home made out of graham crackers and loaded with candy!  As you decorate (and nibble), your family will celebrate the “gift of home” and talk about what is special about your particular home and family.
  3. The gift of Receiving: through an interactive activity and story time, your family will discover the joy of “a gift to receive”.  Everyone loves getting gifts – and Christmas reminds us that the best gift the world has ever received is Jesus.
  4. The gift of Community: the evening will finish off with a chance to simply enjoy some Christmas treats together and enjoy the “gift of being together”.

This is a FREE event.  Simply register your family and come enjoy a great evening together.

INVITE another family from your neighbourhood, school or work community who you would like to connect to North Park…the more the merrier!  (Be sure to have your friends REGISTER.)

DONATIONS of new, packaged child-sized underwear and socks will be received on this night to support our Dare to Give campaign that supports the needs of individuals and families in our community through Mission Services of London.
