The building is a-buzz on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:45am, as we welcome our lively little ones to their various classes (Birth-SK).
We swing open the gates to welcome our children 15 minutes before the service starts, as long as we have 2 approved volunteer staff ready to go, one of whom must be an adult over the age of 18.
Sign-in & Security
Safety is our top priority. Parents must sign-in their children EVERY time they attend. All children are assigned a number for the morning, and are given a name-tag to wear with their name and number. Parents are given a corresponding bracelet tag with their child’s name and number. Parents must hand in their tag to a staff in the room in order to pick up their child. If they do not have the appropriate tag, the Supervisor will need to be called to sign the child back over to their care.
Allergies, Medical or Behavioural Conditions
Please help us provide the best possible care for your children by sharing any important information with your Room Leader when you drop your child off. This includes allergies to diapers or wipes, as we use our own supply.
Note: We do not provide snack during our services, and aside from babies, we request that you do not send any food into the rooms with your children.
Classes begin with a time of free-play, where children can enter the room and immediately explore age-appropriate materials alongside their peers, while developing trust relationships with their leaders. Intentionally planned large-group Bible experiences begin in our Toddler room, and increase in depth and duration as the kids grow and develop. We know that children learn more in their first five years than at any other time in their lives, so we firmly believe that now is the key time to introduce them to Jesus, and help lay down a life-long foundation for their faith.
Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on one of three simple, but powerful, truths. The entire 1st look curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths.

In order to help keep our kids healthy, please do not bring your child to our program if they have experienced any of the following symptoms during the last 24 hours: green mucus from the nose, fever, nausea, diarrhea, rash, or any other communicable diseases. If staff notice any of these symptoms, they will page you to come and pick up your child. Please inform us if your child was in our care during the incubation period of a communicable disease.
Peace of Mind Page Policy
We will not let your child cry consistently for more than 10 minutes before paging
Our pager screen is located on the brick wall above one of the doors on the left of the stage
If the number on your parent tag comes up in red numerals, please return promptly to your child’s class
Photos are periodically taken by staff for use in the church building, website or Facebook. If you do not want your child’s photo to be used in these ways, please contact email@example.com.
