Every Sunday morning for both services, you can find our kids wing full of energy and excitement as grade 1-5 students gather together.
Meet and Greet
Each grade has their own classroom that they start out in. There will be a teacher there to greet them at the door, and welcome them to the class. There is a simple activity to start out with before they leave for large group, as well as a chance to tell their teacher their monthly memory verse.
In room 142, all the classes come together for a time of musical worship and Bible teaching. This is a very interactive time with the students being involved with both the music and the teaching. Starting in September 2017, our curriculum will be based on the church-wide series, The Story.
After the large group teaching, students are dismissed to their classrooms for a follow up activity or craft, based on the Bible lesson. At the end of the service, parents are to pick up their student at the same door they were dropped off.
Inclusion is one of our top priorities at North Park. We have a team of volunteers with a passion to support children with varying disabilities. Activity modifications are always available to ensure all kids can participate equally.
