Consumed

In our insatiable pursuit of the next best thing we have become a culture overwhelmed by our desire for more and more stuff.  We have become consumed with consuming.  This affects everything from how we spend our time and money to how we view education and church.  But as we reflect on our endless cycle of pursuit and consumption can we truly say that we have been satisfied?  What if life is not about finding the next best thing that we can consume but rather is about finding that which consumes us?  Join us this January as we explore consumerism  and the God who desires to consume us.

Everything is Meaningless:  Looking for Wisdom in Ecclesiastes

Meaningless, meaningless, everything is meaningless! This is the refrain of the writer of Ecclesiastes and is often a feeling that resonates within us when we ponder the meaning of life.
