Friendship Club is an informal weekly program for adults and youth aged 15 and over who have intellectual disabilities, for purposes of Christian education, fun and fellowship.  The Club meets from 7:00 – 8:30pm on Tuesdays from September through May, and features:

  • music and group singing,
  • a Bible lesson, enhanced with drama or videotapes,
  • individual time with volunteer teachers in activities to reinforce lesson (ratio of 1 volunteer to 1 or 2 students),
  • a craft or game for social interaction,
  • group prayer time, and
  • refreshments.

Membership is open to all, whether one attends North Park Community Church or not.  Volunteers to serve as counsellors/friends are likewise most welcome.

The church is wheelchair accessible.  Transportation is not provided to Club meetings.
