Mark your calendars for Empowered to Connect 2019! We are excited to be hosting this event on Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th, 2019. This simulcast is designed for foster and adoptive parents, teachers, volunteers, support workers, and professionals who work with children impacted by adoption and foster care.

Sessions will equip caregivers with an understanding of attachment, wisdom on how to recognize the underlying needs behind difficult behavior, and a concrete approach to connecting with children from hard places in a way that is transformative and healing for them.

Featuring Trust-Based Relational Intervention methods developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at TCU to help bring attachment and connection in families.
